Pork with Garlic

This week's first recipe is one of the easiest and tastiest recipes we can show.

For a big helping we are going to need:

  • 750 g (26 oz) of pork loin (or similar)
  • 300 g (11 oz) bacon
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 1 laurel leaf
  • White wine (1 glass)
  • Vegetable oil (preferably olive oil)
  • Salt

First cut the pork and the bacon up in pieces, cut all the garlic cloves in half and season the meat with salt.

In a frying pan add enough oil to cover the bottom. Place it over high heat and once the oil is warm add the pork, the bacon, the garlic cloves and the laurel.

When the oil starts boiling reduce the heat to medium and stir it at intervals for 10-15 minutes.

Once the meat starts turning brown spray it with the wine and stir it until the wine is gone.

Let's eat!

Tip: if you can't eat it all, leftovers will make a nice 'tapa' for the next day!
